How Princess Turns Strollers into Lifelong Companions

By combining craftsmanship, repair expertise, and koorvi’s digital platform, Princess shows how circular retail can strengthen both customer trust and brand identity.

The Challenge: Keeping Premium Quality in Motion

For Princess, quality has always been personal. Once a manufacturer of strollers, the family-owned company built deep expertise in product design, materials, and repair, knowledge that still defines their brand today.

Now operating as a premium retailer, Princess carefully selects only the highest-quality strollers on the market. But even these long-lasting products face a common challenge: once a child grows, the stroller’s journey often ends too soon.

Princess wanted to change that. Instead of letting valuable products sit unused, the team set out to create a closed-loop system, one that would give every stroller a second life and every family the chance to experience top-tier quality at a lower price.

The question was: how to scale refurbishment and resale without losing the craftsmanship and trust that make Princess unique?

The Collaboration: Circularity, Built from the Ground Up

When Princess met koorvi, both sides quickly saw the potential. The goal was clear: to build a trade-in and resale system that feels as premium and reliable as the products themselves.

“koorvi convinced us from the very first moment. Not only because of the innovative technical solution, but also in terms of quality, design, and the speed of implementation. On top of that, working with the whole team is always a real pleasure.”- Felix & Moritz Lehr, Managing Directors at Princess

Together, the teams built a digital infrastructure that connects all circular operations in one place: from customer trade-ins to repair and resale.

Thanks to their manufacturing heritage, Princess refurbishes and repairs every stroller in-house, ensuring the same level of craftsmanship and safety as new products. koorvi, on the other hand, provides the digital backbone to make this process transparent and efficient.

How it all works

1. Trade-In Portal

Customers start a trade-in in just a few clicks on Princess’s site. They enter model and condition, get an instant quote, and choose shipping or drop-off.

2. In-house Refurbishment

Thanks to their manufacturing heritage, Princess refurbishes every stroller themselves: inspection, repair, deep cleaning, safety check, and certification. The koorvi dashboard updates status automatically (intake → grading → repair → QA → ready for sale), keeping the team aligned without manual coordination.

3. Pre-Loved Shop

Once a stroller passes the final quality check, it’s uploaded to Princess’s online shop with all details: photos, condition, warranty, and price. As soon as it’s ready, it appears in the Pre-Loved collection, automatically restocked and waiting for its next family.

4. Bonus: Repair & Maintenance Manager

Beyond trade-in and resale, koorvi also powers Princess’s repair & maintenance service. Customers can book services online; tickets, parts, and service history are managed in one place. This shortens refurb lead times, increases first-time-fix rates, and keeps more high-quality strollers in circulation.

The Results: Craftsmanship Meets Circular Scale

Since launching their Pre-Loved program, Princess has already given hundreds of strollers a second life, exten-ding product lifecycles, making premium quality more accessible, and proving that circularity can be both sustainable and profitable.

Refurbished models often sell out quickly, a clear reflection of customer trust in the Princess brand and the quality of their circular offering.

For Princess, circularity isn’t a side initiative, it’s a natural evolution of who they’ve always been: a brand that builds products to last and ensures they truly do.
